TITLE
Approval of Contract with TK Elevator Corporation for Elevator Upgrades and Comprehensive Service District wide.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Work was solicited via RFP 2022020 Elevator Upgrades and Comprehensive Service. The RFP was advertised via DemandStar, local newspaper, and the District's website. 266 vendors were sent notices and 4 vendors downloaded plans. 1 proposal was received. This proposal was reviewed by a selection committee. TK Elevator was selected for recommendation based on the their proposal meeting the requirements of the RFP. Pursuant to MCSD Policy 6320 and FAC 6A-1.012(12)(c), the selection committee is recommending the approval of an agreement with TK Elevator despite less than two proposals having been received due to the time-sensitive nature of securing elevator repair services for schools.
