BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The School Board of Monroe County has an obligation to offer educational services to minors who have not graduated from high school and to eligible students with disabilities under age 22 who have not graduated with a standard diploma or its equivalent who are detained in the county detention facility. The Monroe County Sheriff agrees to reimburse up to, and including $20,000 of the Teacher(s) base salary to the School District.
