BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The Florida Department of Education allows Schools Districts the option of offering the Performance-Based Exit Option Program (PBXO) to seniors in high schools who meet the eligibility criterial in Part A. Students who complete the program can earn a PBXO Diploma. Students who earn this diploma option do not count in the graduation rate. But, they do count as a non-drop out. Applications require submittal to FDOE every 2 years
