BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Currently MCSD contracts with Frontline Education on a software suite that provides multiple solutions for the Teaching and Learning, Payroll and Human Resource areas. These solutions include Professional Learning Management, Absence and Substitute Management, Time and Attendance, and Applicant Tracking at an annual cost of $73,361.49 that was board approved 7/24/18 .
We are now looking to add Employee Evaluation Management with Danielson ($29,405.98) and the Framework for Teaching for Instructional Staff ($31,875.00). These services would need to begin set up in May 2019 in order to have implementation and training completed for use in the 2019-2020 school year. That will require payment of the start up costs for the two processes and pro-rated fees in the current fiscal year in the amount of $18,111. That would bring annual spend for 2018-2019 to $91,472.49. As such, we are bringing two requests to the board for consideration:
First, approval of the addendum to increase the 2018-2019 Frontline Education approval by $18,111 to a total of $91,472.49.
Second, approval of the 2019-2020 Frontline Education software renewal to include Employee Evaluation Management with Danielson and the Framework for Teaching for Instructional Staff in the amount of $138,310.54.
