Approval of purchase of Fuel Master Fuel Sentry control system and accessories from Guardian Fuel Technologies.
Background
The current fuel sentry control system is outdated and will no longer be supported by its supplier after this year. Monroe County, the City of Key West and Keys Energy all use and share the current common fuel sentry system and key system. To continue our cooperative fueling agreements, all four entities have agreed to purchase and use the Fleet Master system with a common key system. The purchase is being made through a piggybacks of Sourcewell (formerly NJPA) contract bids.
