Resolution Deeming Certain School Board Property to be Surplus and Authorizing Conveyance to the Florida Keys Community College
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
On April 25, 2018, the School Board participated in a Chapter 164 Intergovernmental Dispute Resolution, where an agreement was reached with the Florida Keys Community College. This Board has reviewed and approved that agreement. Pursuant to the agreement, the School Board will convey a currently unused property at MM 91.5 in Tavernier to FKCC. This property was formerly used for Adult Education, but has been vacant since Hurricane Irma. As a condition of conveying the property, the School Board must affirm their previous intent to declare the Tavernier property to be surplus. This Resolution declares the Tavernier property to be surplus, and authorizes the conveyance of the property to the Florida Keys Community College via warranty deed.
