Background
For the past several years, district high schools have expended substantial funds to rent vans for athletic travel when school bus transportation has not been available. The district has financially supported these rentals. In order to reduce these operational costs for the high school's athletic teams, the district requests the purchase of six (6) Ford Transit ten (10) passenger vans for athletic travel (2 for each high school). The purchases is from a piggyback of the Florida Sheriffs Association Contract FSA18-VEL26.0
