BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The Key West High School Band is interested in traveling abroad to Italy, the result of a polling of students and parents. The band has not traveled out of the country since 2008, which was also a trip to Italy. The opportunity to travel abroad and perform with fellow students is an unparalleled experience. We anticipate making all arrangements through a travel company who regularly conducts similar trips with school performing groups. This company will provide guides for the duration of the trip. Contract with tour company will be negotiated and routed for district approval once board approval is given for travel. All funds to be paid by attendees who will have many opportunities to fundraise for all or part of total costs.
