BACKGROUND INFORMATION
This recommendation for approval provides cost and RFP information for the acquisition of a volunteer/vendor background screening and facility access solution that will provide screened security access to approved volunteers, vendors and contractors seeking access to all Monroe County School District (MCSD) schools. Pricing was solicited via MCSD’s RFP 2019922 Volunteer/Vendor Screening Clearance Solution. The RFP was advertised via DemandStar, local newspaper, and the MCSD district website. 192 vendor/suppliers and 4 supplemental suppliers were sent notices. Plans were downloaded by 5 vendors. Two bid responses were received for consideration. These bids were reviewed by a selection committee consisting of key stakeholders from HR, IT, schools and school safety. The process was facilitated by Internal Services. The vendor selected was Raptor Technologies.
