BACKGROUND INFORMATION
AVID will be implemented in nine schools throughout the district in 2020-2021. Each year, teachers are asked to participate in professional learning at an AVID Summer Institute. This year 36 teachers and administrators will attend the Orlando Summer Institute on June 28th - July 1, 2020. Skills that are learned at the institute will be shared through various professional learning opportunities in the 2020-2021 school year.
