Approval of Plantation Key School - 1st Annual Safety Patrol Trip to Washington D.C.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
This trip has no cost for the school or district. The students will raise all funds during the school year. Each student will raise $1700 to cover airfare from Miami to DC, airfare from DC to Miami, a coach bus for transport while in DC. hotel for 3 nights in Arlington, bus transportation from Plantation Key School to Miami airport and from Miami back to Plantation Key School, subway fare, admission to sites, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks for 6 days. The trip accommodates 32 students and 6 chaperones, at least 2 of which will be Monroe County School employees.
