BACKGROUND INFORMATION
On or about July 1, 2011, MCSD entered into a Charter Agreement with Key West Independent Education, Inc. for the operation of a charter school in Key West, now owned and operated by Somerset Academy Inc. (d/b/a Somerset Island Preparatory). The Board workshopped the proposed Renewal Agreement on April 13. This Agreement represents the final draft of the renewed Somerset Academy Charter Agreement, effective from July 2021 through June 2026.
